This is the part I will try to describe my experience with the places we stayed for the night.
We purposefully did book beds for sleeping, as the other option being tent did not seen OK at temperatures as low as 0 degrees C. And as later turned out , we were happy of our choice. as the few people we met and who stayed in tents were not excited of the cold, which was actually caused by the strong winds.
so..
Refugio Torres Central
Spent 1 night.
A rather big house with dorm like rooms. our room was with 6 beds.
Was a good sleep. A bed with linen provided. No place to charge own electronics, except arranging with the staff in the reception. Still, limited sockets.

Refugio el Chileno
Spent 1 night.
Rather small place. With 8 people per room. I happened to be sleeping on the 'second floor bed'. Well, getting on there sometimes can be a challenge. It was extremely cold. My sleeping bag, suitable for +6degrees Celsius did not keep me warm at all. Had to ask for another sleeping bag to the staff. Thankfully I got it, and could fall asleep.
Still no plugs for electricity.

Atmosphere - lively, friendly.
Staff: helpful, fun.
Loved: music, fireplace in the back of the refugio (nice place to get warm, chat with people)

Refugio Los Cuernos
Spent 1 night.
Rather small, but very packed, as this is the place where people starting from either side of W have to go through.

Stayed on the 'second floor of bunkbed', while there is also the third floor. I was actually happy to be on the 2nd floor, as the heat from the fireplace in the hallway was warming me up nicely (physics did a good job in this case). I got a bit coldish towards the morning only.
Atmosphere: crowded, lively.
Loved : hammock.

Refugio Paine Grande
Stayed 2 nights.
huge place. Nice enough rooms.
Yes - to the electricity.
Atmosphere: impersonal.
Good choice for us, as it was extremely windy, so tent would be dreadful.
Staff: acceptable
